Farmer’s Tan is a Hoppy American Brown Ale. A malt forward bee with caramel, light chocolate and nutty flavours balanced nicely with an earthy bitterness and subtle citrus flavours and aroma. By brewing with our malted barley and spring water from deep beneath the same land, we are creating unique craft Irish beers, with traceability from out ground to your glass.

500ml bottle at home. Pours a deep brown, almost porter-like color, dense tan head. Funny sort of an aroma, chocolate, a bit of roasted nuts, but an unexpected floral hop note too that’s a little out of place. Taste is more traditional brown ale, toasty roasty flavours, slight hop bitterness. A bit anemic, would love this if some oatmeal was added to the brew to smooth it out.

Draft @ Against the Grain, Dublin.
