When Spain ceded the territory of Florida to the United States in 1821 it was considered a triumph of American diplomacy and created a new frontier in American expansion. Cigar City Brewing lauds this important year in Florida’s history with a crisp, flavorful American Golden Ale.
Brewed in collaboration with our friends at MacDinton’s Irish Pub and Yard of Ale, 1821 Golden Ale is brewed with American Willamette hops and pale wheat malt to create a low-alcohol American Golden Ale that balances bread-like malt flavors with herbaceous hops and a vibrant carbonation.

Sample draft @ CCB Taproom. Dorée, col blanc. Arôme est houblonné, bine fleuri, noble, approche finement hernacée sur une base de malt pils, levure type lager. Palais est crisp, malt pils, léger sur petite rondeur de levure. Aspect rappelant le Florida blossom de verger, pointe citronnée et fleurie au niveau des houblons;
