Tap @ Fermentoren. Pours hazy dark reddish brown with a small offwhite head. Aromas of malts, hops, cheesy notes, prunes, raisins, caramel, ripe orange. Taste is malty sweet, chocolate, caramel, raisins, prunes, light hops.

@ the brewery. Very young bottle, straight from the warm room. Aroma (tangerine) still in the bud, but already a magnificant flavor of mandarine curacao. Well hopped as always, but the obvious alcohol and the massive malt and fruit character restrict the hops to the background, only to reveal itself in the finish. Full bodied, notes of champagne. Bottle@ home, served at room temperate, 15 days later. I should have served it a bit colder. Orange brown color. Champagne mousse after pouring in the glass. Grapes and a hint of mandarin curacao in the aroma, together with a hint of vin mousseux. Malty sweet flavor, immensely full bodied, with mandarine curacao and vinous notes. Thick mouthfeel, just a touch of yeast in the aftertaste. Alcohol, of course. Flowery and citric hops in the aftertaste. What a huge beer!

(Bottle) Dark amber colour with brief, bubbly head. Malty, fruity nose with caramel, rose-hip, apricot marmalade, orange peel, treacle, toffee, a touch of glue and vinous hints of alcohol. Malty, fruity, spicy taste with notes of treacle, caramel, rose-hip, orange, pears, apricot marmalade, plums and a sweet and vinous finish with a balanced herbal bitterness. Almost full body, really sweet. Tasty, but a bit too sweet and boozy. Still, nice one.

Flaska från SB, vintage 2013. 15.2% abv. Smutsig kopparfärgat, disigt kloakvatten med liten beige krona. Knäckig sötma, syltade apelsinskal, kolaremmar, apelsinkrokant. Stor syrlighet. Stor kropp, lite kladdig. Vissa ålderstecken, men inte farligt.

Bottle at home. Four year old. Has a clear mahogany colour with a compact, light beige head. Aroma of caramel, oak, liqueur, plums, brown sugar and some alcohol. Sweet flavour of brown sugar, caramel, oak, dried fruit, and warming liqour towards the end. Has a silky mouth feel, full-bodied and a light bitterness. Rich and sweet. Solid and a real dessert.

2014 Bottle at home, 15.2% version, from DeBierkonig, no doubt, consumed 21st December 18. Pours a clear dark amber, reddish brown. Aroma is dark fruit, caramel. Taste is sweet and powerful, dark fruit, orange, rich, lots going on, a little sweet for me, but good.
