Nectar imprisoned in a bottle. An anything-but-delicate blend of sharp hoppiness and fruity aroma, this beer is a life-changing backyard knife-fight for your palate. Fermented with a volcano-like Belgian yeast strain called “El Diablo,” Raging Bitch earned its polarizing name from the aggressively active nature of the yeast - unleashed, untamed, unbridled...and in heat.

Deep golden to amber colored, medium off white creamy head, nice lacing and long lasting. Aroma is of caramel, some fruity peach-spicy- light citrus mix, bit banana. Taste is medium sweet malt, caramel, some banana, fruity, bit spicy, citrusy, medium bitterness, dryish finish, light alcohol. Medium+ bodied, soft+ carbonation, oily. Good, but not totally won over by the combination. (bottle, Pivoljub Lubljana)

Old notes. Had this several times from tap & bottle. This from bottle somewhere in 2015. Amber color, mostly clear. Off white head with thin layer retention. Aroma’s of sweet fruit, raisin, light resin. Also a bit herbal hops retronasal. Flavor is moderate sweet, moderate bitter. Medium bodied. Finish is rather bitter and dry. A bit too sweet, but it might have been a slightly old bottle.

Flesje gedeeld met familie. Roodbruin helder bier met matig schuim. Aroma en smaak is zeer hoppig en fruitig met een hint van honing. In de nasmaak komt alleen het hoppige naar boven.

BOTTLE 33 CL. BB FEB-2017. Clear mahogany, creamy beige head. Aroma: crystal malts and moldy fruit - feels like an unfresh IPA. Some less common clove spicy notes. The taste is similar. Moderate grassy-piney bitterness. Looks like it’s spent too much time on the shelves. 6-4-6-4-14=3.4
--------------------------
MAR-2013. BOTTLE 33 CL. Floral, citrus and resiny aroma. Similar taste, abit spicy. 8-4-8-4-16=4.0

Clear amber, white moderate head. Belgian yeast, perfumy fruit, honey, melon on nose. Medium body. Dryish flavour. Not much yeast to be detected. Nectar, melon. Smooth. Bitter grapefruit making it an American one. Very good.
