Nectar imprisoned in a bottle. An anything-but-delicate blend of sharp hoppiness and fruity aroma, this beer is a life-changing backyard knife-fight for your palate. Fermented with a volcano-like Belgian yeast strain called “El Diablo,” Raging Bitch earned its polarizing name from the aggressively active nature of the yeast - unleashed, untamed, unbridled...and in heat.

Bottle from the Maypole, Cambridge. Orange/brown with some clear white head. Yeast, golden plum and dried papaya scent. Hint of fairground candyfloss. Its not as strong an aroma as I thought it’d be. Tastes gorgeous with the yeasty sweetness overpowering a dry earthy hop bitterness. Medium to long finish, bubblegum and strawberry in the aftertaste. Well put together, and worth drinking, but the price and ABV might put me off having more of these!

Nice fruity and pine aroma. Amber to red color, medium but short head. Medium bitter, underneath some obvious sweetness.

Nem túl nagy, de nagyon tartós hab. Sötét borostyán szín. Illata belgásan aromás, gabonás, erősen fűszeres, gyümölcsös, épp csak halványan édeskés. Íze erősen keserű, némi gyümölccsel és gyantával. Utóíze teljes egészében a komlóról szól, erőteljes keserűvel. Testes sör.

0.355 l bottle from local AH, best before January 2017 (I assume bottled in January 2016). Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, tan to white head. Fruity-resiny, slightly floral aroma of mango, orange, some grapefruit and pine. Sweetish, fruity-resiny taste of mango, orange jam, honey and some clove, followed by medium long, rather bitter, slightly yeasty finish. Medium body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, average carbonation. Good!

Clear amber pour with a white head. Smells hoppy and malty. Notes of grapefruit, orange, caramelized malts, a bit of honey and piney hops. The taste follows the same notes, with a nice sweet and malty backbone on top of a bitter hoppy profile.
