Misty amberish color with a off white head. Solid intensity in the aroma. Full body and a moderate to soft carbonation. A bit sweet this one. Dried fruits, toffee, hoppy and some alcohol in the flavor. A bit colder temperature would have done this one well.

Tap at Erzbierschof Zurich. Strong fresh spring-like aroma, a bit soapy. Intense, full and rich. The ABV carries. Surprisingly light and rather dry finish, though. Good beer!

Bottle, 0.33l. Pours cloudy ruby brown color with thin off-white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of caramel, resin, citrus, berries and honey. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel and fruity, following is resinous and floral with warming mouthfeel, heavy bitter finish and long aftertaste. Full body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Sweet, strong and balanced...

Bottled 330ml. -from Pivoteka Zagreb. Darker golden/amber coloured, small off-white head, hops and caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, fruity, piney hoppy, noticable alcohol and touch of wood with rather sweet finish. Pretty sweet and alcoholic overal.

Bottle (9.4% ABV) from Fyne Ales’ brewery tap. Hazy red body with a thin white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of strawberry syrup, orange and pine. Flavour of sugar, strawberry laces and flowery hops. Medium body with a sticky texture. Soft fizz. Very sweet, but the alcohol is well hidden.

Red IPA style beer from Kaapse Brouwers, bottle shared by Craftmember. Loose and coarse but fairly stable, snow white head, warm deep and clear copper colour. Lovely aromatic bouquet of pink grapefruit flesh, toasted shallot, acacia honey, mango, mandarin, biscuit, vanilla, tropical flowers, hint of gin, exotic pepper. Sweet onset with clean fruitiness, strawberry and candied orange sweetness, light umami accent and cranberry sourishness, very soft carbo, smooth oily mouthfeel, slick, nice biscuity malt bittersweetness supporting a long, rich and very aromatic hop bouquet, very citrusy, bit piney, floral and peppery, gently bittering, after which an almost Grand Marnier-like, liqueurish alcohol warmth and lingering orange sweetness bring the palate to its end. This is absolutely lovely.

On tap at Kaapse. Clear, medium amber with a thin, creamy, tan head. Sweetish, fruity-malty aroma of wild honey, strawberry jam, vanilla and caramel. Very sweet, fruity-malty taste of wild honey, strawberry jam and caramel, followed by a medium long, medium bitter finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, flat. Nice!
