Sample draft @ Pivnica Union, Ljubljana. Dorée, trouble, col blanc. Arôme au nez offrant un bouquet belge surtout au niveau des esters qui apportant des effluves de bananes, rétro pils et pâle. Palais est frais sur un fini ester tirant sur un côté abbaye belge avec une note de banane. Houblon noble belge voire allemand qui balance le tout. Petite impression d’épicé en fin de bouche avec un rappel de cardamone et girofle. Reste correcte et bien exécutée.

Keg at Union Pivnica, Ljubljana. Cloudy golden, small head. Marzipan and citrus up front. Sweet with medium body and rounded mourhfeel. Sugar and marzipan, some elderflowers and coriander. Honey and white pepper in the finish.

Pours a hazy golden color, topped with a fairly small white creamy head. Belgian yeast aroma, banana presence and spices - nice. A bit cellar presence as well. Taste is yeasty, quite, with mild sweetness upfront and equally mild spicy bitterness in the finish. A tad soury notes present and a short aftertaste. Medium body. Proper belgian ale.
