That's right friends, it's BACK. Vanilla Medianoche starts with a blend of Medianoche batches aged for 18 months in Willett® bourbon barrels. After barrel aging, the beer was conditioned on a carefully curated blend of vanilla beans, including 5 different origins and 2 different species - Vanilla planifolia from Madagascar, Uganda and Vanuatu, and Vanilla tahitensis from Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. ⠀

500ml bottle, 2024 vintage. Rich milk chocolate aroma with notes of vanilla, roasted malt, coffee, bourbon, oak and dark fruit. Pours inky black with a thin mocha brown head that has little retention and a thing ring of lacing. Starts with milk chocolate, dark fruit, coffee and roasted malt flavors as well as having a rich, full body and slick, viscous mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with vanilla, bourbon and oak flavors. Decadent and delightful.

500ml bottle pours out black topped with a tan head. Nose is nice sweet chocolate vanilla roast malts bourbon barrels. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate roast malts vanilla hit cream notes bourbon barrel goodness.

Bottle shared. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of dark chocolate, dark fruits, vinous notes, vanilla, fudge. Taste has dark chocolate, dark fruits, roasted malts, booze, vanilla, fudge, light acidity, cocoa nibs.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours black with small tan head that diminishes to nothing. The aroma is strong vanilla bean, cocoa, wood, bourbon. Thick body, chewy, roast, vanilla, wood, boozy finish, very good.

bottle @ Finissons ces pétroles tasting, merci Kevin. Bottled 06.15.2016 Noire huile de moteur, col fin crémeux café au lait. Arôme au nez malté, caramel, pas mal de grillé et de belles effluves de Bourbon avec un accompagnement sublime de vanille. Palais est malté, chocolaté, épais avec un léger ajout caramel. Alcool perce bien et apporte ce côté de chaleur de Bourbon. Petite douceur paradisiaque des îles ressort des gousses de vanille avec un fini restant axé sur un épicé modéré. Fini est poudreux mais un breuvage à partager à plusieurs.
