Aroma of dark malt, caramel, some chocolate, raisins, nuts, leaves, metallic notes. Flavour is medium sweet with a decent moderately bitter finish. A shame about the metallic notes, they were on the right track with the bitterness.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie. Het is een helder roodbruin bier met een medium beige schuim. Het aroma is moutig en wat chocolade achtig. De smaak is moutig, zoet en caramelachtig.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Malt, caramel and raisin in the soft aroma. Malty sweet, raisinny, slightly roasty flavor. Soft estery spicy notes.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, lemons, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, lemons, alcohol, and straw, leading to a tart finish.

Bottle@Yesprs - Dark brown to black pour with off-white head. Sweet toasty malty aroma and taste, some treacle and caramelic notes, some dark fruits, pretty light watery body for a dubbel, not bad.

33 cl bottle. Pours cloudy brown with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted, breadish and herbal. Dark roasted and breadish, sweet malty. Roasted and dark malty finish.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Arn Brouwerij Dubbele Arn ].Clear medium to dark red - brown color with a large, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dusty malt, caramel, dark malt, moderate yeasty, light dusty cacao. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, burnt caramel - brown sugar, caramel, roasted - burnt, burnt sugar - malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
