Bottled (Thanks Joakim G). Rubyish black colour with a small beige head. Aroma is roasted coffee, roasted malts, caramel and some slight fruity tones. Flavour is roasted, ashy, some floral and fruity tones with some mild coffeeish tones. Too roasted and ashy CDA for my taste.
From backlog. Taster at Haand Frstival. Black with brown head. Roasted malts, hops, Chocolate, Citrus and bitterness.

On tap at Haand Festival. A black beer topped by a lasting tan head of good size. Some lacing. The aroma is piney and resiny with a hint of coffee. Some roasted malts too. It's full-bodied and with a good bitterness and carbonation, more on the dry side than the sweet side, with flavors of pine cones, citrus zest and resin up front, and a light roasted malt flavor in the back. Lasting hop driven finish with a touch of roasted malts in the back. A really delicious Black IPA, I love it when the dark malts are there mostly for color and sure don't run the show. And this one was good in all aspects. 170526

Nice tasty bipa.
Black color with a fine tan head. Solid lacing. Looks good! Good intensity in the aroma. Medium + body and a soft carbonation level. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Semi dry ending. Coffee, roast, pine and grapefruit hoppy flavor. Nice lasting flavor.

Big light brown slightly fizzy-creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly rich and roasted, toast, roasted grain, coffee, hops, licorice, caramel, grass, pine needles, dark sugar, moss. Taste is dry roasted, weeds, burnt grain, minerals, harsh hops, bark, pine needles, moss, burnt coffee, burnt toast, lawn. Longlasting bitterness, slightly harsh burnt mouthfeel. Nice aroma.

Black with a brown head - Roasted malt aroma - Roasted malt body with some chocolate notes and hoppy bitterness - The roasted malt and hop bitterness goes into the finish - This was good

Draft sample @ Kongsberg Bryggeri.

On tap @ Patricks. Dark, dark brown, close to black body with a medium sized, lacing tan head. Decent aroma of dark malt, some coffee, dark chocolate and pine. Flavor is light roasted, dark malt, mild coffee, dark chocolate, pine and fruity hops with pleasant bitterness. Fine body and OK aftertaste. Nice beer, a bit light on the bitter hops, could go for a hoppy porter as well, but all in all a pretty nice beer.
