When in London, I popped into Crate Brewery. The brewer was kind enough to set me up with a few cans of their new Oceanic Pale Ale which was brewed to get rid of a ton of hops they had on hand. Canned with a mobile canning line. It pours a deep copper with a minimal head of foam. Damn this smells good, fruity, prickly pear, dank pine - yum. Raspy mouthfeel on a medium body. The taste is bitter pine bark, very woodsy and ascerbic. I found the aroma phenomenal in my teku glass but the taste was a bit of a let down after the smell.

Malté modéré avec un léger bouquet fumé? Palais est léger dont le malt ressort nettement plus. Ce dernier garde un côté seigle et porte des pointes rappelant un léger tourbé. Houblonné fruité avec une pointe de citronné, le tout est poudreux et épicé.
