A brewers' favourite, our year-round stout is matured for a minimum of four weeks for a full body and smooth finish. Aromas of dark, roasted malt and subtle liquorice lead into indulgent rounded flavours with a touch of red fruit before a long, lightly bitter finish.

750ml swing top. Hop Hideout, Sheffield. Clear, dark reddy brown. Thick, dense, lasting, sticky, beige head. Looks good. Quite savoury. Some soy. Cocoa. Red fruits. Woody, roast malts. Drinks fairly rich, and smooth. Has a tart, fruity bitterness, that complements the richness well. Finishes with more of the tart bitterness. Very drinkable. Leaves lovely lacing in the glass, too.

Pours dark mahagony, nice foamy fead, stays for a bit. Aroma is softly roasty, has some hops and dark fruits, light. Taste has also roast but also soft fruitiness. Roast lingers for long. Medium body, nice and does not feel too strong.Hoppy lingering aftertaste. Great beer, has even more that it’s abv seems to allow.
