Bottle shared in Rome-Italy with Mortlach, courtesy of daniele. Grazie Dan. Semi clear proper golden pour, medium white foam. Nose: tea notes, a note of sweet malt a bit of burnt wire. Mouth: a bit empty, no flaws, just empty.

Cloudy blond color with medium sized head. The hoppy aroma has a nice spicy yeast signature too. Dry mouthfeel; here the spicy yeast is a bit too present and hides the qualities of the hops; strong bitterness, with some yeasty astringency in the final.
Could be pleasant, but it’s a bit dirty.

Draft sample @ Birra Expo’14 Piacenza.

Keg at Ma Che, Roma, 08/02/14. Lightly hazed golden with a good sized off white head. Nose is lightly toasted malt, bitter orange, straw, bread dough. Taste comprises lemon rind, straw, orange pithdom, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying closure. Ok drinkable stuff but lacks a little depth.
