A very intense bouquet and intriguing tropical flowers, citrus and passion fruit. The 99.8 IBU, rich of American and oceanic hops, well balanced by roasted malts, invade pleasantly mouth, leaving a freshness and dryness final leading to drink another one … and another … until the madness.

On tap at Flamèl, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma has an unpleasant herbal hop character and vegetal notes. Flavour has lots of vegetal notes, herbal hops, and bready malt. Bad hop character and clumsily balanced.

Lattina. Territorio olfattivo dominato dalla frutta tropicale. L'olfatto viene stimolato in maniera elevata e il modo in cui permane è apprezzabile. Il cappello di schiuma ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido appare velato. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è carico. La forza gustativa è elevata e la permanenza è buona e persistente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano luppolate. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è intenso. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, amaretto, frutta secca, luppolo, resina, agrumi, pompelmo, ananas e frutta tropicale.

Tap at Lumière. Bright orange color thick white head. Flavor juicy malts and lotsbof american hops, grapefruit, bitter orange. Solid body, filling , strong carbonation. mineral, intense bitterness, a bit of mud, some salt, relatively clean finish noticeable abv, quite heavy.

Can, 0.33l. Aroma of citrus, passion fruit, stone fruit and resin. Pours cloudy amber brown color with medium sized soapy tan-like head, fair lacing and sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and tropical fruity, following is caramelly, bready and herbal, mouthfeel is warm and mild spicy, while finish is heavy bitter. Can (thanks John & Marianne). Amber colour, mediumsized off-white head. Aroma is caramel, some pine, citrus and mild peachy tones. Flavour is sweet caramel, some floral, mild peachy and some toffee tones.

On tap at buttiga martesana (Milano). Clear dark golden colour with sizable head. Aroma is grapefruit, orange, pine, malt. Medium to full body. Flavour is malty, quite a bit of caramel, restrained but noticeable fruit, especially grapefruit, orange, candied orange peel. Medium sweetness. Quite a bit of pine, dryish finish. A rather classic west coast double IPA, old school but tasty.

Amber colour, medium-sized off-white head. Piney, a bit caramelly nose. Medium-bodied. Caramalt, pine and resin in the flavour. Old school IPA. A bit rough.

Bottled 330ml. -from Eataly Genova. Murky golden coloured, medium sized off-white head, malty caramel nose. Sweet malty, caramel, herbal hops, notes of citrus and touch of alcohol in the finish. Good one.
