Quattro sono gli elementi della natura: terra, acqua, aria, fuoco. Quattro le stagioni. E i punti cardinali. Ma anche gli ingredienti della birra, secondo l'antica legge della purezza: acqua, malto, luppolo e lievito.
E poi ci sono i Quattro Luppoli - Citra, Cascade, Simcoe e Amarillo - che abbiamo mescolato insieme in grande quantità, utilizzando la tecnica del dry hopping, per ottenere una birra completamente nuova e profumatissima, la nostra Four Hops.
Una birra dallo stile unico che presenta un sapore amaro, persistente al palato, e un bouquet aromatico tra lo speziato e il floreale, a tratti resinoso.
La particolare combinazione di profumi e sapori ottenuta fa della Four Hops una birra da sorseggiare e assaporare con calma: ogni sorso è un'esperienza a sé, e ne richiama altri.
La Four Hops è una birra chiara, leggermente ambrata. Ad alta fermentazione, ha una gradazione alcolica di 6,5%. Viene servita con un cappello di schiuma soffice e leggera.

Dark blond colour with lasting head. Aroma has plenty of floral and fruity hop. Flavour is less intense. Very dry finish.

Keg at the brewery. Served in a plastic cup. A hazed dark orange dull coloured pour with a stodgy off white head. Aroma is raw grains, bready, grassy citrus hop. Tangerine and background tropical on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of big harsh bitterness, raw grains, husks, harsh bitter lemon. Palate is medium light in body, grainy, moderate carbonation. Completely out of balance, way too bitter.

Aroma of citrus, pineapple, mango, some pine, biscuit.
Tastes of grapefruit, pine, mango, pineapple and other tropical fruits, some grass, biscuit.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes bitter, dry, zesty, piney, a bit fruity.
Really nice. Quaffable, very fruity, but also with a bitter hop kick. Nothing extraordinary, but a straight and very well balanced IPA.

Draft @ Birra Cerqua, Bologna. De couleur orangée, col blanc léger. Arôme est léger offrant des flagrances huileuses et d’agrumes. Nez profond au niveau du fruité tropical. Malté reste en retrait. Palais fruité tropical-agrumes fort prenant alternant côté raisin blanc, pamplemousse, mangue, papaye avec ce côté très australo-américain, côté ouest. Léger épicé sur la fin pour une amertume parfaite. Le Citra brille de son caractère sans venir dominer toute la bière. Le malt quoique présent reste en retrait ce qui est tout au profit de cette bière aux 4 houblons.
