Questa è la nostra birra per l'estate. La ricetta è nata in quei giorni di luglio in cui a Bologna fa così caldo che sembra di essere in un deserto, e la Desert Sun era il nostro miraggio.

E' una blonde profumata e piuttosto leggera nella gradazione. Ad un'amaricatura delicata, erbacea, si accompagnano intense note di limone, date dall'utilizzo del Summit, un luppolo americano dal carattere molto agrumato. Il finale è secco e dissetante.

Ad alta fermentazione, la Desert Sun ha una gradazione alcolica di 5,2%. Poco carbonata, viene servita con una schiuma leggera.

Keg at the brewery in bologna. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a lasting sticky white head. Aroma is sweet, honey, floral hop, heather, apricot. Flavour is composed of pale bready malts, hints of wheat, spicy hop, honey, cereal. Palate is medium sweet, moderate carbonation, slightly creamy. Ok.

Draught at the brewpub.
Straw colored, hazy body, with a big, creamy, lacing, white head.
Aroma of citrus candy, mango, apricot, ripe fruits, some vanilla.
Taste follows this pretty much.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium bitter, fruity, a bit sweet malty.

Very nice. Fresh, fruity and very easy. Perfect summer beer and one of the best examples of this style I’ve had.

Draft @ Birra Cerqua. Dorée sur un léger trouble, col blanc. Arôme offre un bouquet levure distinct suivi de qcq notes de houblons, nobles avec une touche US entre Cascade et Summit. Palais est épais, malt pâle et cara accompagné de notes de houblons légères et fruitées offrant un léger ajout épicé, probablement du Summit. Qcq touches d’agrumes sont aussi à noter. Légère et agréable.
