Bottle from Appellation Wines. Clear pale yellow body with a medium white head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of pale malt, Rich Tea biscuit and a hint of lemon. Flavour of grain, green pepper and grass. Thin body with an oily texture. Light fizz. Simple, refreshing and easy drinking.

(bottle, 35.5cl) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond and short foamy head. Delicately grainy pale malty aroma with notes of white bread, herbal and slightly grassy hops. Mildly bitter and slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Initially dry pale malt character with grainy and strawy spots; herbal and slightly grassy hops tune in from the middle part; dry and moderately hop bitter finish with herbal spice and grassy notes. Clean and crisp, but lacks a bit the sweet malty counterpart. 22.I.15

355ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma, a grassy hoppy touch. Taste is grassy, bitter hoppy, slightly strawy, pale malty basis. More "German" than "zesty".

A: pale straw yellow with a fine bubbly head of a finger height. very clear S: faint bread, cracker malt notes. a slight hint of herbal or floral hoppiness but very slight T: sharp bite of malt hits the palate first. lightly toasted bread. mild floral hop notes along with a hint of citrus to round out the back end with a lingering resinous bitterness. nice balance of flavors all of which are mild. very good tasting M: very light with fine creamy carbonation. extremely drinkable O: a very nice pilsner with no off flavors or bad points. light and flavorful. a little expensive at $10/6 but worth buying from time to time. another great beer from left hand

Bottle. Archer Road Beer Stop, Sheffield. Clear, pale gold. White, lasting head. Sweet, lager malt graininess. Grassy, and some lemon. Creamy palate. Nice pilsener, with a grassy, hoppy bitterness, right at the end.

355ml bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - pale lemon with a thin head which disappears fairly quickly. Nose - big green vegetables, maybe some seaweed or samphire is probably closer. Taste - green vegetables again which I didnโ€™t expect. A very green spicy finish, almost like a green pepper. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a balanced dry finish. Overall - really odd with the green vegetables being bigger than expected.

Bottle shared at Chrisoโ€™s post GBBF minidig, 16/08/14. Clear pale golden with moderate off white spotting and edgework. Nose carries bready vibes, vanilla, pale malt, straw. Taste comprises citric peel, light florals, bready notes, straw. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok pils with a touch of hoppage.
