Hazy red - brown beer. Low carbonation. Surprising nose of fresh raspberry which carries over to the taste but only in the undertone. The taste on top is mild dark malt and strong spicy cedar with a distinct smoky note. Some nuts buried in here as well. The most cedar dominant beer I’ve had. So far!

Entering old rates.

Handbottled. A slightly hazy deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma has strong notes of cedar wood as well as medium notes of caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of cedar wood and medium notes of caramel, malt, and a bit of roasted malt, leading to a dry woody - cedar like finish. The body is light. Thanks a lot MadsBerg for sharing.

Hand bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madsberg. Pours a clear orangey brown with a small, rough off-white head. Very spicy sweet chili-like aroma - again must be the cedar. Medium body, sweet caramel and nuts, a little low in carbonation. Again dominated by these amazingly interesting and exotic cedar accents. Some alcohol burn in the finsh. 161209

Growler pour courtesy of TampaBrew. Pours deep amber with tan head. The aroma is full with sweet nuttiness, a touch of chocolate and building notes of a cedar like twang. The taste begins with the classic Bolita creamy near velvety mouthfeel ushering in nutty and roasty malts. Like the nose the cedar joins in midway to go along with fading nuttiness and persistent roasty malts. Yum. The modest cedar notes really add to the experience.
