Bottled (from lahoublonniere.be). Hazy golden colour with small white head. Aroma is sweet banana, wheat some peach, spices and yeast. Flavour is rather sweet wheat, peach, some citrusfruits, banana, spices and a bit acidic notes as well. Overall quite sweet witbier.

Bottle 0,75l bought at Tesco Kensington Feb 08 as "Finest French Wheat Beer". Good shot when opened. Pale golden colored. A large creamy head. Aroma of citrus. Rich fruity flavor dominated by banana. Sourish bitter finish. A good wheat beer.

750ml bottle. Hazy pale gold colour with a huge, rocky white head. Big aroma of coriander and orange with some yeast and graininess. Flavour had a touch of sour citrus, more coriander and a short finish. Ok.

bottle, bought at the Eurotunnel terminal. Pale yellow, cloudy, large head. Aroma of cinnamon. Cinnamon is present in the flavour, too, together with other spices (e.g. coriander) and hints of citrus fruit. Spicy and pleasantly hopped finish and a touch of mint in the aftretaste. Very refreshing and full of fascinating herbal flavours.

Bottled at Monk’s Café, Stockholm. Hazy pale yellow, rich head. Fairly sweet and light bodied with spritzy mouthfeel. Some freshening light citrus, but the flavour is well light, resulting in an almost thn mouthfeel and a light metallic touch. Still it works as a very light refreshing summer quencher, sort of Hogaarden light.

As Tescos Finest French Wheat Beer. LIght aromas of wheat, yeast and spice. Hazy lemon color with ferocious white head that laces. Starts with lemon, yeast spice, passes to a papery taste which passes quickly, ending with a hint of herb, and some hop bitterness. Definitely a dry finish.

Bottled as Tesco Finest thought the strength said 5% but I may be wrong on that point. This beer poured very cloudy and looked a golden/orange colour with moderate carbonation.Aroma was wheaty and a bit citrusy, taste was crisp, wheaty again some bananeyness ’if there’s such a word’ but not that impressive. I left some of this as I just got a bit fed up with it.

75cl bottle from Auchan, Calais. Cloudy, pale gold/green colour with lasting white head. Wheat, lemon and soapy hop aroma. The soapiness is just a bit too dominant. It has all the makings of a good blanche, but just fails.

Opaque yellow. Fruity (peach, blueberry) aroma. Pineapple and a hint of pale malt in the palate. Then it gets bland and crisp.
