Sublimely complex nose with layers of spice, lime, honey, and coconut. This carries over to the palate. Extremely elaborate with a lingering curry spice on the finish.

Nip bottle received in trade. Deep golden pour leaving some subtle legs on the glass with a swirl. Distinct curry nose with supporting honey, lime & coconut. Plenty of spice. Very light leathery oxidation. Tiny sweet, tiny sour & spicy taste. Soft, tiny dry, slightly astringent, tiny tart & tiny boozy mouthfeel. Very weird but I do kinda like it.

Bottle - Curry, coconut milk, honey sweetness and some acidity. Clear gold. Tastes just as it smells. Unusual and hit the mark, unfortunately there would be no reason on earth I would want to drink this.

375mL green capped bottle. Super pale, almost clear color. It really comes off as Indian curry, a little cinnamon like curry but cool. Not sweet or even honey like. Flavor is super lean, no sweetness with super long dry spiciness. I like it, coolest mead ever.

6.3 oz. bottle, sent from northernbrews (thanks a lot, Jeff), pours a still, clear yellowish beige. Nose has curry powder upfront, with coconut and mild honey further back. Flavour surprisingly cohesively blends curry and coconut, with a boozy kick and much more subdued honey than a more conventional mead. Warming from the booze but not overbearing. Very interesting and enjoyable mead.

Bottle thanks to Steve. Pours clear gold. Nose of lime, coconut, honey, curry powder, vanilla and oak. Taste is mild Indian spices, honey and coconut with hints of lime. Finishes with a hint of alcohol burn. Medium body.

Thanks to Rogueone for sharing a bottle. Pale golden pour with a minimal white head that dissipates quickly. Spots of lacing on the glass. Aroma of spices and key lime pie. RIch and slightly creamy body with flavors of coconut milk, lime and subtle heat from the spices. The finish is slightly tart with a lime and coconut aftertaste. Very good Mead overall.

Big thanks to Greg for opening this one. It pours lightly hued clear gold with modest legginess. The aroma is firm curriness followed by ginger, cinnamon, some flowery notes and robust smooth smelling honey sweetness. The taste is full on yummy sweetness flowing into cinnamon, curry and ginger along with lingering honey sweetened curry heading into the finish. It gets a touch mineral ginger/cinnamon like into the after taste but that was just an observation rather than anything detracting from the experience.

Cheers to Greg, Askofficerfriendly for yet another outstanding mead. I love mead. Moi, j’adore.

Sampled at the 2010 Winter Solstice. Poured a clear near water color with no head whatsoever. Aroma had a coconut with some spice and curry with a backing lime and honey. Flavor began with coconut and honey with a curry backing and a hint of lime.
