’09 notes Another great use of the Maduro base. This one was better than the Cuban Espresso version. aroma and taste had some amazing coffee/espresso blends with a more lactic/chocolate use of the mocha/cacao nibs that balanced out the bitterness that the espresso/coffee usually gives. Oatmeal, malty profile of the Maduro is present. Perfect match for your breakfast. Could drink this one all day.

From Skyview. I liked this, but not everyone at the tasting did. Brown color. Big coffee aroma. Coffee flavor with a carbonation bite, and just a little unsweetened chocolate. Light palate.

The fluid poured out of the brewery purchased growler a striking amber with tan head. The aroma is a big nose full of dark roasted coffee with much softer notes of varied roasted malts. The taste isn’t that far from being a cup-o-joe to start with plenty of dark roasted coffee. By midway and to the finish the coffee recedes back enough to reveal notes of roasted malts, sweet malts and a sprinkling of cacao nibs.
