Refrigerated 12 oz. brown from FlandersNed poured into a tulip. Brown with crimson hues and small beige head. Aroma is banana, medium body, low carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is dark fruit, banana, and some clove. Surprising good for an eight year old beer.

Very dark brown. Flavor has banana, caramel and malt. Flavor is what I expect from a dark wheat beer, with aroma of roasted malt, some banana, sugar, cloves & spices and just a little smoke. Thick beer, good palate. Schell’s did a good job with this one.

Black Hills Beer Fest - Medium brown pour with a small sand colored head. Smells spicey, like cloves mixed with banana yogurt. Creamy texture and tastes smooth. The wheat and cloves work well with the yeast and more bananas. Not too shabby.

Tasted at the big “SeaBass has got to go” tasting courtesy HonusWagner. Pours amber with tan head. The aroma is sweet with caramel, prunes, plums and dried apricot. The taste offers up thin molasses, prunes and tart tannin like fruit skins toward the finish

Bottle @ Seabass going away party, Jan15th ’11. Courtesy of HonusWagner Couleur cuivre, mousse fine et beige.
