A classic Wisconsin Lager at it’s finest. Harking back to an era where Supper Clubs were In Vogue and Wisconsin had numerous regional breweries making their version of American Style Lagers. You know, back when these types of beers exhibited regional soul. And many of these beers were enjoyed during an evening spent at a local Supper Club, visiting with friends and family and having a good dinner. Supper Club is an eminently drinkable version of a true American Lager. Featuring a greater depth of refreshing malt character than the mass marketed versions of the style, Supper Club is clean yet satisfying.

It's a nice easy going lager. Not bitter just clean and fresh. Good session brew.

clear yellow, white head. quite typical lager aroma, with a hint of citrus. Flavor is like a pale lager, malty, also with faint cereral, mild hopping, and euro hops. in fact, many european macro lagers taste same or better. This has some extra malts going for it, but the cereral flavor reminds me of cheap spanish non alc. beers.

Can from Binnys, drunk 4/18/14
Not much head to speak of. White cluster of bubbles runs for the edges. Clear waxy-yellow looking body is well-carbonated.
Clean, at least, is the nose. Very little hop character to speak of, but I guess that’s what they’re going for. Maybe a touch of pepperiness. Mostly just white bread sugars from the malt. Touch of vanilla light mineral.
Fairly watery, again mostly clean, with some waxiness and vanilla that are perhaps a bit unwanted but none of the majors offenders of the style; dms, diacetyl, acetaldehyde, etc...Well-attenuated and certainly quite drinkable. I guess I was expecting something a little more characterful from Capital, since their other beers are so delicious, but this is what it’s billed as and you can’t fault it for that.

Clear golden coloured body with a thin two centimetre tall white head. Aroma of lemons, wheat, grass and a bit of metal. Light-bodied; Sharp malt notes with some grain, rice and honey all with a nice malt depth and some metallic twangs near the end. Aftertaste shows some mild malt tastes, a bit of grain and metal, some rice and a bitter finish. Overall, a nice beer for the style, but not great overall - drinkable, of course, but showing a bit too many bitter and deep flavours. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Corner Store (Bait and Tackle) in West Palm Beach, Florida on 30-December-2013 for US$2.39 sampled in my hotel room here in Clearwater, Florida on 03-January-2014.

Can. Corn and barley malt aroma. Golden yellow with large white head. Sweet corn/barley malt and hay flavor. Okay - this is exactly what Wisconsin needed - another mediocre pale lager.

Hazy Darker Shade of Yellow, Medium Head Some Lacing. Sweet malt and Yeast. Something Funky about it. Tried it on a couple of different occasions, seems consistent. Got to be the style or out of date, since there is nothing marked on the label. As it is , tolerable but not pleasant. Pass it...

Can thanks to Sarah! Pours a pale yellow with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount sweet grains and cereal with not much of a hop presence. Flavor is similarly sweet with cereal and sweet grains. A bit one note overall.
