Hot Hetul Red- This Red American Ale is brewed with robust Caramel Malts, which lend both color and sweetness to balance the bitterness from Amarillo and WU/amette Hops. Everyone has had a HOT HEAD RED sometime in their life, but this one won’t bash your pickup truck with a baseball bat or shoot you while you’re sleeping.

A dark amber ale with a thin lacing and creamy light moka head. In aroma, a surprisingly nice pungeant c-hops with light citrus and treacle notes. In mouth, a sweet butterscotch with light British hopping, oily mouthfeel, a bit cloying, nutty, medium bodied. On tap at brewpub, Jan. 4 2011.

Pours hazy copper with gold hues and off white head. The aroma has spicy to resiny hops followed by crystal malts and a thin layer of gently roasted malts. The taste is sessionably thin with fairly bright spicy to bitter hop notes running into mildly roasty malts.
