Bottle shared late-nite at RBWG 2014 - Asheville. Cheers! Pours clear pink with a bubbly white head. The nose holds tart berries and rich honey. Big sweet flavour with light dry honey, berries. Full bodied, soft. Rich finish, with further sugary honey that’s cut pleasantly by berry tartness. Delicious.

This is a darker reddish watered down blood appearance. A lot of legs on this one. Nose is intense bourbon, rye with a lot of vanilla, some smoke and maple syrup. Nose alone makes you realize it’s going to be a huge flavor. I get very faint cherry. Well, this tastes straight up like a Manhattan cocktail. Cherry, bourbon, table sugar, lots of sweet orange peel some tangy notes and the cherry lingers for a while. Obviously not quite as boozy as a Manhattan. the cherry just really tastes amazing. Quite incredible.

Sampled at Willrunforbeer grand mead tasting. Hazy red / pink color. Aroma a great willow bourbon encasing a cherry, honey and mild flowers.
Flavor is just great. Tart cherries blended in honey with a subtle bourbon oak notes throughout the sip. Body is medium with a great lightly lingering bourbon.

Bottle 12 fl oz at Sweet & Sour, Sätila, 2014-08-30. Thanks to rlgk! Label marked 14.0% ABV.Hazy copper color, no head. Alcohol, berry scent. Sweet, tart, wood taste. Vinous, alcohol aftertaste. Smoth mouthfeel, peppry alcohol bitterness. Rather boozy, might improve for my taste with some age to it?
