Pour is a black with an average tan head. Aroma is a nice roasted malt. Flavor is again a nice roasted malt with some coffee and a nice earthyness rounding things out. This is a nice easy drinking and flavorful porter.

Courtesy of keifdog. Pours brown with thin tan head. The aroma has pleasing notes of molasses, some burnt malts and then fades away with little else going on. The taste has a modest level of burnt – roastiness followed by faint molasses and more roasted flavors. It stays even into the finish while picking up a nice sense of chocolate.

A little light on the body for my taste, but otherwise an enjoyable porter. Aroma of caramel malts with hints of chocolate, nuts. Flavors of the toasted malts, chocolate, caramel with hint of nuts. Slight bitter notes behind all this.
