courtesy of pretzelcity. ’08 bottle Pours dark brown, whit beige head. Aroma of pumpkin and toffee, some roasted malts. Overall spices and pumpkin is wonderful. Flavor was a little weaker. Overall the beer could have been better with possibly a little higher abv. Plenty of pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg. Roasted malts, thin body with hints of gingerbread, finish is a little weak with hints of bitter hops.

Bottle. Pours with a light brown head over a hazy, very dark brown body. Decent lace. Aroma of wheat, gourds, nutmeg, fruits and cereal. Very raw. Taste is ashtray, raw pumpkin, nutmeg, watery, nutty and peanut shells. Light bubbles and a water like mouthfeel. Not repeatable.

Pours dark brown with thin tan head. The aroma is moderate in strength bringing up pumpkin, cinnamon that seem to be mixing with roasty to chocolate malts. Very nice. The tate is thin with highly roasted malts, a light amount of near burnt malts, mild cinnamon spice and pumpkin notes. Decent stuff. A sessionable experience.

Bottle. Dark mahogony beer with a tan head. Spice and a malt/pumpkin aroma. Light roasty, spice flavor with yeast and vegetal notes. Vegetal notes linger with spice and light roast.

Bottle from South Bay Drug. Very dark brown color with a dark tan head that subsided rapidly. Dark aromas; chocolate among them. Medium body with frothy carbonation. Flavor is a bit earthy with roasted dark malt and some coffee. The finish is more dry than sweet. Drinks right well.
