bottle pours thick black with a medium tan head that doesn’t stick around for long. Aroma is awesome. Mix of cherry’s, big roast, molasses, maple. Flavor is big and roasty upfront, lots of burnt sugar and thin smoke lending way to a big cocoa and cherry finish. Bitter and only mildly fruity. Nice beer.

Bottle from Matt (madvike). Deep opaque brown/black body, no head. Cerealy, toasty nose. Body predominantly toasty, with cereals and surprisingly faint cherry. Tasted watered-down and flabby, lacking potency and vigor.

Bottle shared by Sean, thanks! Poured black with a brown head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma was full of dark grains with a tart underlying cherry note. Flavor was similar with dark grains and bitter chocolate with just a bit of tart cherry coming out in the finish.

Bottled. A deep dark chestnut brown beer with a thin dark brown. The aroma has notes of malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet wtih notes of malt, caramel, bread, and nuts, leading to a dry caramel finish. Thanks MadsBerg for sharing.

Bottle: Dark brown pour with a finger of fluffy, creamy beige head. Thick bits of lacing. Nose is sweet, cherries are easily detectable. Other than that, a little sweet and a little malty. Kinda pedestrian and almost artificial fruity... The taste is where this picks up the pace. Rich, smooth, and balanced. Roasty, chocolate, and a molasses type sweet come toghether. A little candied sugar at the end, right before a light cherry finish. Finishes crisp and tart, with a lingering roasty kick. Fun.
