courtesy of Zack. pours dark brown, beige head. Aroma of cherry puree with hints of chocolate malts, caramel. Flavor, cherry is right where it should be though a little in the background but doesn’t add any type of tartness. Good malty and chocolate notes

A good porter. Quite thick and almost no carbonation. Aroma of roasted grain and malt. Moderately roasted flavor, and just a light hint of cherry so this isn’t really a fruit beer. Black and thick.

Pours dark brown, with a minimal head - aroma of bittersweet chocolate and a moderate amount of earthy cherries, tartness and all - the flavor starts out with a little doughy character, dark chocolate, and a bit of roast - gets somewhat tart through the middle, as the cherries come to the fore, and are complimented well by the dark chocolate flavors - lingering tartness and earthy qualities - I’m not usually all the impressed by this brewer, but this beer is quite nice.

Courtesy of Gillard, thanks Ryan. Pours deep dark brown with amber edges and thin tan head. The aroma is pretty full and rich with modestly roasty malts moving toward molasses, earthiness and faint berry notes. The taste has roast and some burnt malts bleeding into chocolate, a dash of molasses. Into the finish I get a modest amount of cherry to go along with an upwelling of mild caramel notes. Fading notes of roasty to burnt malts bring this experience to closure.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye. Pours with a small light brown head over a black body. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, and fruit. Taste is coffee, berries and cherry with a bit of chocolate and roastiness. Thinnish mouthfeel, light bubbles.

Dark brown with limited head. The aroma is roast and chocolate with a light, vague fruitiness. Decently rich chocolate notes, hints of cocoa and again some light fruit. The cherry is more prominent in the finish, where it adds a subtle nuance to the beer. The fruit and roast contribute tartness late.
