On tap at EBF 3/16/13. Golden colored brew without a head and a wicked bell and spicy pepper nose. Sweet malt quickly then an onslaught of spicy pepper flavor. Medium to high level of heat, this is a very nice pepper beer if you like them on the spicy side.

Hazy amber beer. Frothy white head. Light semi dry palate. Light malt, sweetish orange and then a very hot blooming chilli burn. Finishes dry with a very long chilli afterburn on the lips, in the mouth, down the throat! Okay to share but would you really want more than a couple of mouthfulls of this?

On tap at Founders. Slightly hazy, dark straw body, thin ring of off-white carbonation. Hot peppery aroma. The body was all pickled pepper heat, finishing with a pleasant burn. Inoffensive but not particularly enjoyable.

Growler courtesy of markwise. Thanks Mark! Pours pure gold with thin white head. The aroma is pretty full and pulsing chili pepper and then with some modest malts in the background. The taste is much the same with solid chili pepperness and modest chili pepper heat. I can taste the skin of these here chili peppers. It tastes like they’re the green ones. It leaves a nice little peppery burn into the after taste.

courtesy of markwise. pours golden, white head. aroma had plenty of pepper aroma, some floral hops and malts. flavors, lights malts, followed by a warming pepper palate. Though not overly spicy then end result tends to be on the spicy side. With that being said, some of the hops do manage to be noticed as was the malt profile. Not something I would drink on regular basis, the pepper lives up to its name. Interesting.
