tap @ TBBC. pours clear golden, thin white head. aroma and taste, pine hops, grainy mouthfeel, some lemon peel, light biter finish with hints of grains/malts adding for a well balanced Bohemian. Nice for the style, doesn’t retain the hoppy characteristics of the pilsener which is what makes me like the Bohemian style better. Dry palate

On tap @ brewery. Pours a watery looking clear gold with decent enough bright white head. The aroma is very light with vague sweetness and a faint floral hop note. The taste starts sweet and malty from lightly roasted malts. Then the floral hops grow in strength and mix with the sweetness. This mixture seems to create an almost soapy flavor. The hops gradually become more and more bitter toward the finish. I still sense a slight soapiness into the after taste. It may just be the malt and hop combination creating this flavor on my palate. As more and more ounces are consumed a nice malty flavor starts to shine through and tipping the balance of sweet malts and hops away from that bit of soapiness I sensed.
