Keg at PP Carlsbad, 21/04/14. Hazy orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is banana, bubblegum, yeast esters, banoffee pie. Taste comprises much the same, noffee pie, orange, peach, bubblegum. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid Hefe!

Draft @ Pizza Port Carlsbad, Carlsbad, CA. Pours a hazy yellow color with a white head. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy banana aroma. Fruity wheat malty banana flavor. Has a fruity wheaty spicy banana finish.

On tap at Carlsbad. A rich fruity nose with dried candies. The flavor is unusual; bubblegum, loads of huge fruit, dry grains, very mellow and easygoing. Quite nice.

light bananay, slightly clovely well made hefe. Light and refreshing. A bit hoppier than usual.

Draft at the Carlsbad location. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with lighter notes of wheat and smoke. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of wheat as well as medium notes of malt and watermelon, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Sampler @ Pizza Port (Solana Beach) Pours golden, white head. Aroma/taste, fruity with some mango/apricot notes, wheat, sweet hops. Finish was lightly bitter. Taste stuff.

On tap at Pizza Port Carlsbad. Pours with a hazy yellow body and a thing white head. Aroma of bananas, caramel and vanilla. Very much a bananas foster. Taste is bananas, wheat, vanilla and light clove. Fizzyish mouthfeel with light bubbles.

From tap at Carlsbad. Pours slight cloudy orange with a lacing white head. Estery and light wheaty aroma. Mild spice hops note to the smooth and estery wheat flavours. Medium dry and light spiced finish.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a cloudy yellow-orange color with a minimal bone white head that dissipates steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Sweet malt and yeast in the nose, along with some fruit. Medium, clean body with flavors of wheat and malt, plus some yeast and sweet fruit. The finish is wheaty with a lingering fruity aftertaste. Above average Hefe overall.

Cloudy golden-beige. Husky nose with light banana. Sweet, malty, with some bubblegum. Hints of banana. A bit too sweet for me.
