Tap. Pours cloudy light amber with a small white head and nice lacing. Aroma has strong banana and slightly spicy wheat notes; effectively no lemon. Flavor is the same plus some light lemon. Spiciness resolves into what tastes like light clove. Light sweetness, no bitterness, light bodied, but creamy on the palate. Not bad at all. I am surprised at the bashing this one has taken.

On tap at BJ’s Louisville. Pours hazy golden with small white head. Some thin lacing, medium body, low carbonation, and banana aroma. Taste is banana, some bubblegum, and some clove. Pretty good.

Hazy pale yellow with orange glimts and a medium white head. Sweet aroma with yeasty, wheat and banana notes. Flavour had yeast, banana and wheat. Finished sweet and yeasty.

tap at Boulder brewpub - Pours cloudy pale yellow with a white head and a yeasty wheat aroma. It’s a sweet beer with a little citrus in there, a light body, and overall an okay brew that’s somewhat lacking in character.

On tap. Pours a hazy orangey golden with an off-white head. A little banana and yeast in the nose. Medium body, distinctly sweet banana accents and a little phenols in the finish. Clearly BJs love their beers to be sweet! 130709

From tap at the Elk Grove location. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is banana fruity estery, light acidic note. Flavour is quite estery, dry and yet with a fresh banana note. Ends smooth and wheaty.
