The typical latvian caraway croissant reborn as a beer. The licorice like caraway is supported with the citrusy grassiness of Aramis hops. These are embraced by the fluffy sweetness of 3/4 wheat malt that will bring you into a tastescape of a bakery, with a lingering spiciness of caraway in the aftertaste.

50cl bottle from Stockmann Riga. Pours hazy straw coloured to muddy yellow with a decent, lasting, white head. Rather strong spicy aroma that reminds me of cumin, guess that's the caraway, then. Some wheaty and slightly fruity notes too. Moderate to medium sweet with nice mixture of wheat and caraway. Easy to drink, fairly flavourful and enjoyable.

Draft at the brewpub. Dark yellow, noticeably cloudy. Proper bready smell with some spicy yeast and lemon. The caraway is in the background, t comes to prominence more in the taste (although it’s still quite subtle). There is a sweet-sour interplay that is nicely balanced by a tinge of herbal savouriness. The overload of sourness near the finish feels a bit messy. Very lightly carbonated. More yeast and caraway in the aftertaste. Refreshing but with enough ABV to give it personality and body.

(Keg at Labietis, 20170106) The beer poured golden and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, spiciness and aniseed. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, fennel, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy, fruity and bitter. A nice spicy wheat brew.

Borefts Beer Festival 7th edition day 1 25/09/2016. A hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a small white head. Aroma is apple, subtle grains, lemon sherbet. Flavour is composed of grainy earthy malts, apple and a little peppermint. Palate is light bodies, highish carbonation, grainy finish. Interesting but lacking.

On tap at Bryggerifestivalen Trondheim 2016. Low white layer, spotty lacing, pale golden with a wheat haze. Aroma of ripe fruits and grain. Taste of lemon, bread and herbal hops. Ends with mid-dry fruitiness. Rather well made for the low abv. (shared with bergstaden 05.08.2016).

Draught @ 7th Borefts Beer Festival 2015, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Labietis Radzinš ].Unclear - hazy matt medium yellow color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, spicy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, spicy, wheat, sweet malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150925]
