Lean and dry, nice citrus peel, moderate bitter rind, grass and crisp pine. Good balance. Super drinkable.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and pine needles. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, pine needles, and hops, leading to a bitter finish. 7/3/7/3/14

440ml can shared by Martinsh at the Latvia Day Tasting in Crewe on 18th November 2023. A West Coast IPA no less! Deep golden body, light haze to the look; off-white head. Hops to the fore, both resinous pine and tropical citrus esters/flavours. Low malt presence, but a decent IPA in my eyes.

Can ordered from Craft Beer Station, Northampton – drank (shared) at Latvian Independence Day celebration at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours golden amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. The aroma has plentiful hops, both traditional and continental, plus some hints of straw. In the mouth it strongly bitter with pine and hops to the fore, plus oranges and some traces of ginger. Later comes some citrus and hints of tropical fruits. This is a decent IPA.

Medium yellowish head, stable over hazy ochre-amber beer. Floral and fruity-estery nose, delicate. Grapefruit, passion fruit, lunaria, bit of caramel. Bitter, as in spicy or citruspeel. Grapefruitpeel, limepeel, pomelo. Woody as well. Finish has a bit smokiness. Leafy, earthy, and bitter grapes. Light body, mild carbonation, bit (hopoil)slick. Pretty good - even if its "west coast" claim is stretching it (or are they talking Baltic sea?) Purchased from Beer in a Box, Alkmaar.

On tap filled, to bottle. Not on vid, but based on checklist. Smell- weak, hops, caramel, hard to tell. Foam- thin, creamy at start, hops, bitter-sweet notes and more hops. head is small, white with bit of yellow, creamy tint. Appearance- clear orange, brown amber, vert few carbonation bubbles. Taste- bitter-sweet notes and then hit of hops and bitterness, some herbal notes some caramel and some sweet notes somewhere in middle. Generally quite hoppy one so kind of not my style, but I bet some people might like this quite a lot.

Botella 50 CL en el Kraken Oviedo 29..08.. 2019. (r54).
