(Can) Pours black with a small tan head. Very nice aroma with notes of toast and candy and some floral hints. Full bodied, smooth with soft creamy carbonation. Great taste with dried fruit, roast nuts, some pleasant bitterness in the finish. Excellent.

Aromas of chocolate, raisin, cherry, nuts, toast and spice. The sweetness of the fruity flavours balances the dryness of the chocolate and toast. The palate is a little watery but other than that it's a ripper.

Can't think of when I ever heard the term "OG" used without cringing. Can. Dark brown with a light tan head. Mocha aroma with modest roasted malt. A little lick of caramel with the mocha early but pretty dry yielding to ashy and bitter. Thin and a bit empty before a finish I'd like if it wasn't. --- Beer merged from original tick of OG Stout on 11 Oct 2019 at 12:36 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 6. 355ml can into shaker. Courtesy of Ratebeer and Beer Cartel. Room temperature. Oh, this beer is dark. Darker than a Bill Hicks' joke. Foamy coffee-coloured head. Nose is dark dried fruits, coffee, and cocoa. Full bodied and quite zingy. Sweet at first, drying later. There's the usual coffee and dark chocolate notes but also hints of berries, maybe even cherries. Very nice stout, I'm really liking the sweetness.
