Pre Borefts Tasting at ABC Beers, Den Haag. Almost opaque dark brown beer,, small pale tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Tangy dark malts. Whisper of dark chocolate. Mild tangy bourbon and a touch of blueberry. Airy finish. Yeah - works well enough!

Bottle split at the ABC Beers pre Borefts tasting, 24/09/15. Light black with a decent tan covering. Nose is tarte blueberry, chocolate, spice, toffee, hint of funk. Taste comprises blueberry, chocolate sauce, dark malt, soured berry fruit, caramelised brown sugar, toffee. Medium + bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough impy.

Bottle at ABC Beers Pre-Borefts Tasting, The Hague. Pours hazy dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma of light tart blueberries, malt and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter and light moderate sour. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Pre Borefts tasting 2015. Black beer lasting tan head. Chocolate some sourness. Not sure it’s infected but it has weird orange fruit.

Bottle @ ABC Beers Borefts Pre-tasting. Unclear dark brown color, average sized light brown head. Smell and taste malts, lightly dark malts, a bit infected. Decent body and carbonation.

One of a large number of samples I had at the Extreme Beer Fest in Boston 3/21/32014. Needs more body to stand up to the blueberry.

Bottle thanks to Chris. Pours a very dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is strong blueberry, oak, roast. Medium mouthfeel with a sweet roast, blueberry, wood, really enjoyed this one.
