Cock of the Rock is een bier geinspireerd door Peru. Het gebruik van quinoa en paarse mais zorgt voor een ongekende body en een prachtige kleur.

Bottle @ home. Hazy orange color, medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, lightly green twigs, young hops. Taste malts, a weird green plants like flavor, some bitterness. Weird herbal hoppyness. I don’t like it. Not sure what it is but there’s something in it that really annoys me. Meh.

Tap at NBF Delft. Slight hazy dark golden with creamy off white head. Lots of herbs and German hops, light Apple and lime, caramel, wet grains, but sugary, quite grassy towards the finish with creamy yeast. Medium sweet and under medium bitter. Medium bodied.

[9/27/15] Draught sample at Borefts After Festival 2015 in Rotterdam. Orange-red with a soapy head. Aroma of malt, graininess, a bit of spiciness. Dry flavor, spicy, grainy, with slightly harsh bitterness. Watery.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ BAF 2015. Single hop Summit brewed with 3 grains. Purple Corn, Quinoa and pilsen malt. Fermented with 3 yeasts. Fox amber, bubbles. Nose is sweetish corn, sweet malt, sugar, sweetish hop. Taste is bit weird, too watery, sugar, caramel, dough, caramel resin hop,… Sticky & watery. Less interesting than expected. The brewer was very friendly & welcoming but this is rather messy & dare I say a bit amateuristic. Room for improvement I suppose, this is a good starting point. They have a willingness to do interesting things.
