Cock of the Rock is een bier geinspireerd door Peru.
Het gebruik van quinoa en paarse mais zorgt voor een ongekende body en een prachtige kleur.

Bottle. Golden color. Dust, wood and a hint of citrus in the aroma and flavor. Cardboard, vegetable-like hops. Bitterly disappointing. 5 3 5 2 7 Tap @ NBFD. Much better! Plums and malt in the aroma. Malty sweetish flavor with tropical fruit, oak and herbal hops.

33cl Bottle from Burg Bieren. Orange colour, off-white head. Aroma of malts, dough, hay, yeast, herbal, hint of veggies, light hoppy. Flavour is light leafy, veggies, malty, yeasty, typical herbal Ramses-bitterness but this time it’s a bit overdone, plastic, slightly chemical. Light bodied. Not great tbh.

Very hazy gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Overcarbonated Dutch palate, airy. An odd combination of spicy vegetal and floral yeast with a tangy bitter orange. Dry finish. Corn and purple quinoa in an IPA was a novel idea but the end result is a bit of a dogs breakfast.
