(Bottle) Dark brown colour with big, frothy, beige head. Malty, slightly roasted nose with notes of chocolate, roasted nuts, dried fruit, figs, caramel, black rye bread and a touch of liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with dark chocolate, caramel, coffee, dried figs, black rye bread, toffee and a gentle, slightly citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

330ml bottle at home from trade with Nische, many thanks. BB 08/2015. dark brown color, small tan head. smells malty roast, some fruity hop notes, light sweetness, pines, red currant notes. decent smell, hop and malt notes could work together a bit better though. medium body, rather light carbonation, light mouthfeel, tastes of malty roast, light ash / light coffee, grass & herbs, some currant notes again, earthy, pines. finishes lightly sour and with some chocolate. quite nice, I like the taste better than the smell, the aromas didnt blend together so well, but taste is quite nice. Although I wish both the carbonation and the finishes were a tad bolder. Mouthfeel just feels a tad too light also does not feel the ABV. overall would drink again.

Bitter snerpende, bitterheten avtar raskt. Pepper, noe karamell og bærsødme.
