This, or that? Take one and the other. No more choosing between delicate sweetness and refreshing bitterness. Redd’s Żurawina has it all. Redd’s take it all.

50cl bottle from a Polish shop in Andover, Hampshire. Strawberry pink in colour with a thin white head; sweet, fruity aroma, with atouch of malt in the background; sweet, Ribena-like tase, not as sharp as I’d expect from cranberries, but with a definitely beery body. Teeth-clenchingly sweet, but not bad for an alcopop.

Had the Romanian version in Timisoreana. Pinkish straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is like cranberry-flavoured Sprite. Tastes like that, too. Ok for a soft drink.
