Produced on the basis of a nectarous mead with a strong aroma and a sharp taste. Our driest mead. Just like wine, it makes a good accompaniment to meals.
The lightest type of mead (1 part mead + 3 parts water). It contains 11% alcohol.

(Bottle) Darkish white wine colour. Honey in somewhat sweet nose. Bit like sweetened white port wine taste. Quite nice.

Bottled. A golden mead with no head. The aroma is sweet and no wonder dominated by honey. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of honey, leading to a dry woody finish.

Red-amber color, showing signs of age, oxidisation (Madeira). Very nice aroma, Madeira wine, sweet, vanilla, oak, tobacco. Thin body, moderately sweet; it has some berry note, light mead flavor, and the final is a bit oxidized and metallic.
Very old, interesting. Not sure this is the right mead though.

Pure gold. Nice aroma, sweet, with light honey, ripe apples, sweet wood. Medium body, then honey flavor with the right sweetness, and just a touch of acidity and citrus to balance it. Excellent!

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, 14 Sep 2007) Golden yellow colour, no head. Sourish nose with notes of dry sherry, oak, ripe green apples and a hint of dissolvent. Fruity, slightly sourish notes of honey, ripe apples and berries (cranberries?). Smooth and spicy with balanced sweetness. Leaning slightly in the sherry direction. Actually my first taste of some real mead, and I was impressed. There will be more of this.

Bottled at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear pale golden. Distinct cummin/cinnamon aroma. More light bodied and less sweet than the Korzenny, much more drinkable. Sweet, yet quite refreshing and drinkable.
