Pours clear, light watery yellow. Scent is full, very intense. honey, milder- yet still highly present- spice. Taste is very herbal . off-dry ( which is very dry for what i'm used to in Apis) . Nice, but the taste doesn't have the same intensity as the nose.

Bottle. Clear pale yellow color with white head. Aroma is honey, herbs, simple but nice. Taste is honey, herbs, really quite dry. Oily mouthfeel, flat. Good!

Flat with some bubbles, clear straw colored. Aroma is sweet mineraly, honey, minerals, grass, alcohol, hay, weeds, paper, burnt sugar, fruit stones. Taste is slightly sweet sour-ish mineraly, honey, hay, minerals, alcohol, sour grass, butterscotch, citrus, fruit stones, raisins, paper. Slightly sweet sour-ish boozy mouthfeel. Fair enough, very easy going...

Sampled at Vintage Estate this Mead poured a honey color. He aroma was tannin, honey and almost leather. The flavor was honey, nut, faint vagie fruits and leather. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Brown color. Aroma has notes of honey, caramel an a high presence of cinnamon. Flavor is sweet, slightly alcoholic presence, caramelish. Creamy on palate.
