Mead. Mead is what bwings us togevah today. It is inconceivable that this mead was made given the hardships the Dread Pirate Paul had to endure; the date pits of despair, the MOUS’s (meadmakers of unusual size), and scaling the rum barrels charred in the depths of the fire swamps, stacked as high as the cliffs of insanity. All for true love. Chilled or cellar temp, drink it as you wish.

375ml bouteille, merci à Kyle. Ambrée voire cuivré, col offre un léger filament huileux sur le verre. Arôme est plaisant alternant entre un côté organique mielleux et une sorte de fermenté fruité sec, de date et raisin, le tout est ponctué par des effluves de rhum judicieusement bien placées. Palais est finement épicé, sorte de cannelle, douceur mielleuse est forcément bien là avec un côté râpeux venant des dates. Barrique est tout en douceur avec de belles notes de rhum. Retrouve un fini rappelant un léger sucré candi avec le profil soyeux du miel.

Bottle received in trade. Thank you umich03jm! Pours deep caramel golden leaving some subtle legs on the glass. Smell is sweet and spicy with high quality dark honey, dark caramel, vanilla fudge, cinnamon, cardamom, bees wax, charred wood and rum alcohol. Taste is heavy sweet and spicy. Mouthfeel is round, viscous, oily, boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is sweet with dark honey, caramel, vanilla fudge, charred wood, raisins, cinnamon, cardamom and rum alcohol.
