The only exception in our range of beers is the Rédor, a bottom fermentation “pils” beer, filtrated but not pasteurised.
Indeed, although we are specialised in the production of top fermentation beers with refermentation in the bottle, the brewery has chosen to keep the production of a “pils” beer.
The Rédor is a pure malt “pils”, which means we only use the barley malt as starch.
We do not add grains, so the Rédor becomes a tasteful “pils” with a real bitterness.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm) Golden yellow colour with frothy white head. Malty nose with tropical fruit and grassy hops. Nice and fresh aroma. Malty taste with notes of tropical fruit and lemon. Slightly citrussy and grassy hops in the finish. Malty sweetness hangs on through to the end. Fresh and nice on a warm summer day, but not really exciting.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm. Clear golden, creamy head. Grassy, lightly buttery aroma. Sweet and fruity with notes of sulphur and paper. Fairly solid with it’s soft rounded maltiness, but also very sweet. Notes of brown sugar. Some hops are definitely there, but it finishes with fairly low bitterness. Much too sweet for being refreshing.

draught White head, creamy, leaving incredible lace; ever so slightly orange tinted golden colour. Grassy nose, a little horsey (NOT horseblanket). Nearly winey initial taste, then very grainy, with a touch of caramelised, toasted malts. Perduring toasted flavours, some very restrained hops and lots of malts. Very markedly burnt MF, just not unpleasant; prickly texture but nowhere fizzy. This has always been one of Belgium’s finest Pilseners IMO. It seems to have been made a little less hoppy than I remember, but it has always been quite grainy-toasted.
