Draught @ Indslev brewery. Pours pitch black with a creamy brown head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, light smoke, wood, some light bitter hops, light alcohol. Flavor is light sweet, malty, caramel, sweet dark chocolate, wood, smoke, licorice, some alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, sweet finish with light warming alcohol. 311015

Draft @ Ølfestival 2015. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty licorice chocolate and coffee aroma. Roasted malty chocolate and licorice flavor. Has a roasted malty licorice and chocolate finish.

[ As Ugly Duck/De Molen Eendens & Molens ].Clear dark black brown color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, sweet malt, cookie, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, cookie, chocolate - coffee, roasted,. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20150528] 8-3-8-3-16 Bottle 330ml. Draught at CBF 2015. Pitch black with a tanned ring around the edges of the glass. Roasted aroma with coffee, peat, dark malts and strong herbal hops notes. Taste is bitter. Full body, oily texture. Finishes lasting roasted with peat and rich, dark malts. Lovely Stout.

Draught, 11% at KØ15. Roasted coffee aroma. Black colour. Small head. The flavour has a lot off coffee, quite powerful. Also some fruity hop notes. Very good mouthfeel. Gets a little bitter from the coffee, but a very good beer.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a fully gone head. Aroma is smoked, roasted malty. Roasted, dark malty, chocolate and dark malty. Lingering roasted and slight bitter dry malty finish.

Black with a small off-white head. Aroma of licorice and chocolate with hints of smoke and leather. Sweet and thick roasted flavour with licorice and dark sugar and a heavily hopped finish.
Bottled as Nothing But Trouble: Jet black with a lasting brown head. Feels like the smoke is coming through a little more, while the hops have become a little less dominant. Still a well balanced and very intense beer
