On a pilgrimmage for immortal craft beer we tripped on these heavenly coffee beans -- threw them in and created damn good aromas, a thick fudge-like body, pitch black color and obviously only made it in limited amounts. And the taste.... furthermore Jesus!

Draft from Torst. A coffee variant on the Jesus series and like all of them - great beer.

Crowler, merci Vincent.
Noire huile de moteur, col épais crémeux moka, le tout laissant un filament marqué doré huileux sur le verre.
Arôme marqué par les malts - grillés, caramel, toffeesque, rétro un peu sur un côté malt stout anglais - malt crystal avec une pointe d'amertume un peu terreuse et herbacée et un café qui repasse à la charge en retrait. Ce dernier n'est cependant pas la meilleure illustration d'usage de café;
Palais est épais, boozy, charge de malts - caramel, grillé, léger café, fudge avec une petite touche d'amertume du café. Collant aux lèvres sur la fin, tonne de sucre résiduel.
Over the top, gimmicky - glad it's not loaded with adjuncts.

From a 355ml can on 1/6/2019. Pours near alck wih a biggish tan head which disappears quickly. The nose features chocolate, caramel and roasted malt, with a touch of booze. Flavour wise, it's big and intense - lots of coffee, chocolate, brown sugar, fudge and caramel, but with a big almost burnt, roasty, boozy bitterness. The latter definitely overwhelms the sweetness, resulting in a character that is only slightly dessert like. Actually comes across as possibly bigger than 12%. The texture is slick and the carbonation moderate. A decent big impy, but doesn't quite come together for mine.
