Draught @ 5th Borefts Beer Festival 2013, Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Laugar Cypress Valley ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, wood, moderate hoppy, herbs - spicy, woody hops. Flavour is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet spice - herbs. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130927]

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes bernsteinfarbenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr malzig, fruchtig, hopfig. Geschmack malzig fruchtig, bitter hopfig, Karamell, minimal würzig.

At Borefts Beer Festival 2013. Hazy amber with a firm and lasting white head. Spicy aroma of cypress needles with a fruity note. Sweet fruity flavour with a dominating and cloying cypress taste

Keg at Borefts ’13, 28/09/13. Hazed amber with a thin off white head that dissipates edgeward. Nose is woody, spruce tones, tarte fruits, herbal, light hops. Taste comprises berry fruit, woody notes, spruce, herbal. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish. So so - didn’t really have this as an IPA - traditional ale perhaps ?

Borefts Beer Festival 5. Day 2. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream coloured head. Palateis crispy and dry. Woody drynes. Medium malts. Unusual winey fruit tartness. Light crisp finish. A little off the beaten track.

From tap. Toasted malty and light yeasty. Sweet, fruity and toasted malty. Herbal. Bitter and toasted malty. Medium dry and bitter to herbal finish.

Sampled @ Borefts 2013. Lightly unclear orange color, small off - white head. Smell lightly malts, sweetness, some herbs and spices, a slight touch of lemon. Taste sweetness, again a touch of lemon, fruityness, a bit yeasty and only lightly bitter. Average body and carbonation.

Sampled draft @ Borefts 2013. Hazy orange with no head. Smell is a mix of bitter & sweet, sticky caramel & wild herbs, Black Forest field in the spring,… Taste is bitter, orange peel, caramel, touch honey, bitter flowers, wild herbs hoppy, more spring feel,… Oily, creamy,… So good, in retrospect, Laugar was my favourite stand @ Borefts 2013. This tastes like a Cypress Valley.

@Borefts 2013 amber met witte kraag aroma: gruit. zoetje, smaken: redelijk zoet, zacht, fris kruidig, lekker kruidige/zoete afdronk, niet overdreven kruidig
