Bottle from my wife: pours gold with white head. Aroma is lightly funky and slightly floral and fruity. Taste is dry, not very sour. Quite good.
Yummy golden ale with lemony sweetness and funk, a bit tarter than I expect from SARA but I love it nonetheless.
Fresh, sour, stone fruits, like this apricots, stone fruits, great taste, tx Robert

Bottle courtesy of Linus. Hazy yellow pour with a white head. Very simple sour with pretty much all lemon juice, minerals, dry soil & lemon zest. Very tasty but perhaps too simple. --- Beer merged from original tick of Sante Adairius The Gift of Comfort on 29 Sep 2017 at 21:43 - Score: 8. [1/29/17] Bottle/Can/Crowler/Growler at the RateBeer award ceremony bottle share at Flamingo Hotel in Santa Rosa. Tart, funky, fruity. Really good.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma is slightly acidic with a medium light citrus note. Some nice chardonnay notes with some grape and oak tannins. Light floral notes with some light stone fruit character as well. Hints of tropical fruit. A little more oak as it warms. Pours a hazy, pale yellow straw color with a medium small, thick, white head that recedes to the edges where it lingers for a bit. Moderate lacing and no legs. Flavor is slightly acidic with a light grain note. Medium light lemon notes with hints of the rose hips. Medium light chardonnay notes with light notes of green grapes, oak and tannins, Faint tropical and stone fruit notes as well. Moderately dry finish. Mouthfeel is light bodied and perhaps a bit watery with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a bee with great balanced and nuanced flavors and aromas, but I feel like the mouthfeel is a bit lacking. The character from the house culture is definitely present and works very nicely with the lemons and rose hips. The barrel character is a bit strong in the aroma until it warms up, but it is well integrated in the flavor.
