With a touch of rosehips and a hint of locally-harvested Meyer lemon, this blonde ale rested in Sante Arcangeli Family Wines’ chardonnay barrels with our house culture until achieving a pleasant tartness. The resulting beer is bright and refreshing, but with a complex barrel character. As you enjoy this beer with friends, we hope you are reminded to offer each other the gift of comfort — one of the most important gifts we can give one another. Sante!

75cl bottle @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentine's Day Tasting, Feb 26. Pours clear gold, white head. Very rustic sour.. nice depth with funk and assorted wild elements emerging as you journey through, gentle barrel influence, nice sipper, fancy label too.

14/II/26 - 75cl bottle, shared @ Benzai's Anti-Carnival Valentine's Day Tasting, BB: n/a , (2026-227) Thanks to Caesar for sharing the bottle!

Pretty cloudy orange beer, small creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, lots of oranges, some tangerines, funky, a bit yeasty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter, earthy, lots of grapefruit, earthy, pretty herbal, bitter and dry. Aftertaste: dry, herbal, bitter, a little funky, more herbal notes, earthy, lemony, a bit spicy, decent stuff, nice!

Bottle shared at Anti-Carnavalstasting 2026. Clear golden color, small white head. Aroma and flavor are no where near a saison. This is a sour. Plain and simple. And a pretty sad one as well. One dimensional, sour, I'm disappointed. SARA used to be on top of their game but this is way way way off.

Funky, vinous and grapey with some zesty lemon, lime and grapefruit, hints of citrusy sourness and spices. Complex slow sipper.

Bottle from my wife: pours gold with white head. Aroma is lightly funky and slightly floral and fruity. Taste is dry, not very sour. Quite good.
